Reviews: Hotel Auberge Saintantoine
4.8Excellent hotel experienceSteve - Sep 15, 2019
Do yourself a favor and make day visits to admire the grand architecture of the Fairmont Frontenac and the lovely river views. Unfortunately, the architecture of the interiors of the rooms at the Frontenac is not so grand, so spend your nights at the Auberge Sainte-Antoine. The huge hotel Frontenac is competently run but also highly impersonal due to its ponderousness. The staff at the San-Antoine work harder, smile nicer, and are not spread as thinly as the Frontenac staff. And the San-Antoine rooms and facilities are spacious, modern, and state-of-the-art, in contrast to the Frontenacs cramped, outdated sleeping quarters.
When I return to Quebec, I will not split my time between the two hotels again I will sleep every night at the Auberge San-Antoine.
